About Ty Alexander

Ty Alexander was born in southern Ohio in 1990, spending his childhood exploring the rural hillsides and creeks. His fascination with the unknown began early, thanks to his dad introducing him to Unsolved Mysteries and The X-Files. That passion led him deep into the worlds of ufology and cryptozoology, where he actively participates in conventions and co-hosts the podcast Cult Talks: Conspiracy!.

Now, with Monstrous, Ty brings his lifelong love of the unknown to the page—crafting a thrilling love letter to the eerie, unexplained, and the creatures lurking just beyond the firelight.

From Bigfoot to Roswell to lost civilizations, Ty is captivated by the mysteries still waiting to be uncovered. A longtime horror enthusiast, he’s spent countless nights watching cult classics and even had the honor of hosting alongside Bruce Campbell at the annual BruceFest event. By day, he works in the airfield industry, and by night, he’s either with his partner and his dog or diving into storytelling.
